Last Week
Living Faith welcomed Pastor Scott Egbers and his family to the sanctuary of the Presbyterian United Church of Christ for our weekly worship. Thank you, Pastor Egbers for bringing the message that when God speaks, it is so and faith comes by hearing!

This Week
Pastor Egbers will return to Living Faith to preside over worship which will feature Holy Communion. All are welcome to the PUCC Sanctuary located at 858 7th Ave. SE in Le Mars! Our worship service will begin at 11:00 AM. Park in the front part of the parking lot and enter through the south facing glass door or the double doors under the portico! Tim Kass will be there to greet you and provide you with a bulletin for the service!
On Sunday, Judd Kopperud will read scripture and Kari Kopperud will assist with Communion. Gail Kass will accompany us on the piano.
Please plan to stop by the sign up table on Sunday and get a nametag to wear during church and at our luncheon following the service!
Following the worship service on Sunday, there will be a Soup and Sandwich Luncheon in the Fellowship Hall! We hope you can stay and enjoy a time of fellowship with one another!
Those providing soup are Kim Lang, Cheryl Juhl, Dawn Richards and the Kopperuds. Kay Michaelson will provide crackers and Sandy Heeren and Kay will provide cold meat sandwiches. Those bringing desserts are Yvonne Law, Gail Kass, Sharon Utesch, the Kopperuds and the Van Otterloos. The Leadership Team will provide beverages and the condiments for the sandwiches.
Come warm up with a bowl of soup, treat yourself to some delicious desserts and enjoy the company of your fellow Living Faith-ers!
The Leadership Team announces a Congregational Meeting for Sunday, February 9, 2025 to be held immediately following the 11:00 worship service. Members will be receiving information about this meeting in their postal mail this week.
We hope you can join us on Sunday mornings for the 10:00 hour of Faith + Fellowship with our PUCC friends. Thank you to Mark and Cheryl Juhl for providing the treats for us last week!
This week Kay Allen, Karen Schroeder and Ardis Boetger will be delivering Meals on Wheels in our community! Thank you for your help!
Our canned soup bin is full! So we will empty it out, make a delivery and put a new spin on our drive from now until Super Bowl Sunday on February 9th!
Let's see how many Living Faith-ers are cheering for the Chiefs and how many are rooting on the Eagles in this year's Super Bowl! Bring your canned soups to church and stop by the bin. Put your cans in the bin on the side labeled Kansas City Chiefs, if you're a Chiefs fan and on the Philadelphia Eagles' side if you are an Eagles fan!
All donations go to The Table food pantry at Rejoice! Church and please try to shop for cans of soup with pull tabs! Thank you!
There will be a Community Bed Build for Sleep in Heavenly Peace on Saturday, February 22nd at Total Motors here in Le Mars. Our PUCC friends are welcoming John Peters to their worship service on February 16 to talk about this organization at their 9:00 worship service if you would like to hear about the good work this group does in Northwest Iowa. Then, on February 22nd the PUCC is inviting Living Faith to join them in helping at the Bed Build from 9:00 - 11:00. The family of Gladys Kock. Gladys passed away Friday and her service will be held at 10:30 at St. John's this Friday. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:15 at the church prior to the funeral.
