Living Faith Lutheran's new logo has been chosen and our website is up and running! If you haven't checked out www.livingfaithlemars.com, please do! We think you will find our website is welcoming and full of information for our group and those curious as to what our church is all about!
This tool for our ministry is still a work in progress, so check back to it often! Thank you to Angela Catton who has spent hours working on this digital way to reach out to our community!

Peg McAllister is our reader, and we are in need of 2 communion servers. We also need 2 communion servers on February 26th. Please let Kay know if you are available to fill any of these needs.
Faith and Fellowship Time begins this Sunday at 10:00, prior to worship! Come for a cup of coffee and spend time getting to know your fellow Living Faith worshipers!
If you have 4-year-olds - 5th graders, they are welcome to join the PUCC Children's Chapel during this time!
A sign-up sheet for communion servers and readers for the months of March and April will be out for you to volunteer!
Lenten devotionals and calendars provided by ELCA World Hunger will be available to all for your Lenten journey.
Ash Wednesday and Lenten Services
Ash Wednesday is February 22nd and services will be held in the Youth Room at the PUCC at 5:00 in the afternoon. This service will feature the imposition of ashes and Holy Communion. Weekly Lenten services will begin on March 1st with a light meal immediately following in the Fellowship Hall of the PUCC. The first meal will feature soup and sandwiches. On Sunday the 19th and 26th we will have a sign-up sheet for volunteers to provide items for this meal.
What Is the Leadership Team Working On?
Your Leadership Team is patiently (?) waiting for the State of Iowa to issue us an EIN number in order for us to open a checking account and conduct business for Living Faith! We are also working on Lenten details, a contract for Pastor Denne, liability insurance and a User Agreement with the PUCC. Please plan to stay briefly after our February 26th worship to review and approve the 2023 budget the team has been working on in order that we may submit this final piece of information to the Bishop to include in our grant application for a Mission Developer.
Prayer Requests
Please continue to pray for Ardis Boetger and her family.
Prayers of thanksgiving are lifted up for a medicine adjustment that has helped Jordan Kopperud return to school and better health!
Please pray for Living Faith as we step into our future.
Blessings!
Kay Michaelson
